Senior Finance Manager (Full-Time)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Finance Manager provides analytical, operational, and strategic financial support to the Off the Grid and Community Care business units. The Senior Finance Manager will manage all aspects of financial management, planning, and reporting across the company. This role will also be involved in key areas of business operations, such KPIs, OKRs, and compliance.

Collaborating across departmental functions, this position enhances decision making and growth through the analysis of financial impact and the implementation of financial systems. In addition to establishing internal partnerships, the Senior Finance Manager will act as a finance partner to our key Clients and Stakeholders as necessary. This role reports directly into the CFO.

This a full-time position primarily operating out of our main office at Fort Mason Center in San Francisco and requires a Monday-Friday schedule with some nights and weekends as necessary to support the financial needs of the business.

The Senior Finance Manager enhances decision making, growth, profitability and company value through the analysis of financial impact and implementation of financial systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Create & refine forecasting models and methodology, including cash flow planning, revenue forecasting, and monthly P&Ls.
  • Develop, monitor and execute set budgets and timelines, including providing hands-on coaching & development to our team on how to adopt budgeting into their decision making framework.
  • Empower senior business partners in Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations by preparing analyses, forecasts and reports to support critical decision-making and growth initiatives (expansion, product rollout, process improvements).
  • Centralize and organize currently siloed data sets and systems in order to deliver insights cross-functionally.
  • Work directly with the Accounting team to ensure client reporting, billing and financial operations needs are met.
  • Company-wide planning, management and reporting of key metrics (financial and non-financial) and OKRs
  • Act as finance/biz ops lead on contract and program audits and compliance

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Years of Related Professional Experience: 6-8 years of combined accounting and finance required

Educational/Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA/CPA preferred

Computer/Software Applications: Google suite (Gmail, Docs, gCal, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Suite, Google Drive, Dropbox, Slack, Salesforce, NetSuite

Presentation Tools: Google Slides, Powerpoint necessary

Travel Required(%): 10-20% within the Bay Area*
